Associate of Materials (Receiving)
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract Associate of Materials to join our client's receiving team in Indianapolis, In. This individual would be responsible for meeting drivers, accept deliveries, support corrugate breakdowns, routing non-GMP packages to requesting departments, scan documents into our ERP system, and otherwise support the materials and logistics team.
MUST HAVES:
- Experience in materials handling, logistics, or warehouse operations is required.
- Experience with ERP, MRP and/or WMS enterprise systems is required.
- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and transport materials as required.
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) PREFERRED.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive inbound deliveries from standard carriers
- Coordinate with drivers and provide escort for non-standard deliveries.
- Unpack packages, breakdown boxes, and prepare items for GMP receipt.
- Scan documents
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Support Materials and Logistics team
- Willingness to be onsite M-F 7:30am-4pm with some flexibility
