SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract Procurement Governance Compliance and Supplier Diversity to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Richmond, Va OR Raleigh, NC. This person understands the Procurement-related FAR, DFAR, SAM, CFR and FSS guidelines to remain in compliance with Government agency requirements. This is a long term contract, hybrid (T-Th onsite).

MUST HAVES:

  • Bachelors degree in business, analytics or supply chain (Masters preferred)
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • 6+ years experience in Government contract negotiation, administration and contract compliance reporting, specifically SBA plan creation, negotiation and delivery
  • 6+ years of Procurement experience including understanding of spend categorization, data enrichment and analytics
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and establish plans to achieve organizational diversity goals
  • Experience with SAP ECC

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with other departments, as necessary, to ensure compliance with all procurement-related contractual requirements (i.e. flow down clauses, etc…)
  • Respond to government inquiries regarding contract or program status
  • Support ongoing contracts or additional bid responses that include SBA requirements
  • Development of request for proposals and request for information to ensure sourcing teams include diverse suppliers in all sourcing events
  • Facilitates information and training sessions with internal functions to facilitate adoption of strategic supplier diversity initiative.
  • Researches and identifies diverse suppliers for opportunities in alignment with policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for compliance of all deliverables associated with reporting of Individual Subcontract Reports (ISR) and Summary Subcontract Reports (SSR) as well as DCMA and SBA small business subcontracting plan audits.
