Operational Excellence Lead
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract Operational Excellence Lead to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Houston, TX. This person will spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and establish best practices across warehouse and material handling operations

MUST HAVES:
- Proven track record with warehouse and material handling improvement.
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with 10+ years of experience.
- Cold storage experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze existing warehouse and material handling processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, SAP transaction compliance, and material flow.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Deliver targeted training programs to warehouse associates on SAP expertise, material handling best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all inventory management activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Support cycle counting, external warehouse management, and cold storage handling to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing improvement initiatives, savings achieved, and efficiency gains.
