SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract CapEX Project Coordinator III) to join our client's manufacturing team in Vacaville, Ca.

*Hybrid - Onsite 3x week.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Biological Sciences, or other relevant technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a project controls engineer or coordinator. Experience within a regulated industry preferred.
  • Skilled in project management methods, tools, and reporting. Project management training preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint, and Power BI.
  • Preferred areas of knowledge include biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical process and facility design, general knowledge of applicable building codes and related regulations, and FDA and EMA cGMP requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Portfolio Planning and Governance
  • Perform annual intake of projects to establish the following year's budget.
  • Ensure project managers provide required information (scope, budget, resources, etc) for portfolio manager to plan and balance the portfolio for future years.
  • Provide support for projects throughout the approval process including: Respond to inquiries from project managers, ensure documentation is completed in accordance with requirements, action item follow up, and project approval documentation at multiple levels of governance.
  • Prepare and process capital application requests, ensure all proper documentation is included in submission, work with local Finance to determine proper capital vs. expense determinations.
  • Manage project documentation updates due to project changes (budget, resources, or schedule) throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of project data in SAP including generation of project numbers, documentation of project budget approvals, and creation of WBS codes.
