SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time contract Material Planner I to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Houston, TX.

*W2 contract only; we cannot accept C2C at this time.

Must Haves:

• Available for 1^st shift, Monday through Friday
• 1-3 years experience in inventory/distribution

Responsibilities:

• Plans and coordinates distribution of goods to ensure that current inventory levels are within set parameters
• Plans and forecasts for future inventory levels based on sales forecast, current inventory levels, and outstanding purchase orders
• Management of a material commodity that does not entail release testing
• Identifies, develops, and ensures successful implementation of major raw materials breakthrough projects
• Ensures master data is accurate and maintained within ERP system
• Works with QA on vendor qualification
