SRG are delighted to be working with a large manufacturing client based in North Lanarkshire. This client design, develop and manufacture products that supply into the aerospace and defence sectors.

The company are undergoing a period of sustained growth and are looking to expand their product testing team with an electrical test technician.

The role

As the test technician you will work within the organisation's QHSE function providing product testing support. You will work closely with the manufacturing and new product innovation teams to carry out testing in line with documented procedures and verify compliance against specification requirements.

The test technician, working alongside the test engineer is also responsible for ensuring upkeep, maintenance and calibration of test equipment, including carrying out preventive maintenance.

The right candidate

• Demonstrable experience in a production test role
• In-depth knowledge of the processes and controls used in the manufacture and test of high reliability products
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
• Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems

This position is fully site-based on a secure site in North Lanarkshire, working Mon-Fri
