Business Analyst

12 month contract

Maidenhead/Remote


SRG and a leading pharmaceutical company are partnered together, working on a search for a new Business Analyst to assist their business for a 12 month contract. This role will sit within the UK Market Access team and this person will be accountable for the creation and dissemination of clear & accurate analysis, for various functions to utilise across the business. The successful candidate will need to have knowledge of coding (R, Python) and be confident in modern analytical skill-sets and delivery.


Responsibilities include:

  • Analytics consultation, focused on the delivery of business decisions through data
  • Analysis which supports planning and strategy, as well as product life cycle tracking
  • Analysis which empowers focused and impactful HCP and/or Account segmentation/business focus
  • Decision modelling ('what if' scenario analysis) and Predictive/forecasting based analysis
  • Ability to interpret and untangle outcomes from complex data for a commercial, decision-making audience
  • Performance/effectiveness/operational execution tracking
  • Value based pricing & statistical based analysis
  • Analysis which supports launch planning and strategy
  • Launch metrics consultation & performance/effectiveness/operational execution tracking
  • Geospatial mapping analysis & territory optimisation(s)
  • Market understanding and deep dive hypothesis, along with conversion factor assessment and amendments
  • Collaborative lead on balanced assurance of monthly model refresh, and facilitates above country alignment


Skills/experience required:

  • 3+ years relevant experience of data analysis, as well as potentially other roles in CEx/BTS
  • BS or equivalent degree with academic courses in quantitative methods, economics or finance. Masters or PhD a plus
  • Experience of programming languages (e.g. R, Python)
  • Advanced and confident data modelling skills
  • Advanced understanding of mathematics and statistics
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently frame business questions, identify data sources, formulate a methodology and manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Ability to integrate large volumes of data from multiple data sources, conduct deep data dives and statistical analysis systematically including comprehensive data profiling
