Title: Senior Peptide Purification Scientist (Prep-HPLC)

Location: Cambridge

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: DOE - Including Annual Bonus

We are currently working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry who are investing in their Analytical department with an exciting new avenue in peptide research.

Due to their pursuit of this area of research, they are looking to take on a Senior Purification Chemist with Preparatory HPLC and/or Preparatory SFC (Supercritical Fluid Chromatography) experience. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your career and be the pivotal cornerstone to this teams success.

The successful candidate will support the purification development for some of the company's chiral protein R&D projects and work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team with R&D and Process Development scientists. This will not be a routine purification role, and would benefit from someone with a background in R&D.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Development and optimisation of peptide/protein purification techniques using Prep HPLC and Prep SFC.
  • Collaborating closely with a range of internal stakeholders to help define project milestones and deliverables.
  • Compiling clear and concise reports summarising your work.

Required Experience:

  • Experience leading and managing your own projects
  • Experience with Oligonucleotides is highly desired
