SRG are working with a client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a field-based customer facing role.
The Role:
The purpose of the role is to promote and sell a range of products/services in both the Acute and primary care sectors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow product market share through both established and new relationships
- Create clear and compelling solution-based value propositions through engagement with key NHS customers within primary & secondary care
- Accountable for business/account plans development and delivery of the business
- Build advocacy across acute setting (regionally/UK)
- Develop and utilise an in-depth understanding of the NHS long term plan and how that influences the future of the market
- Lead on market analysis, including health economics to influence NHS thinking and drive commitment to working in partnership
About You:
- Possesses a good knowledge of economics and how current market trends influence sales including Solution & Value Selling requiring a consultative selling approach
- Is persuasive and can easily influence others and builds a team culture
- Possesses good customer relationship and service skills. Able to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills essential
- Demonstrates creativity
- Highly computer literate, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Organized multi-tasker able to handle many diverse projects at once
- Strong, proactive communicator (written and verbal)
- Strategic thinking and foresight
- Problem solver
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Commercial acumen
- Confident and credible presentation style
