Mechanical Maintenance Technician

SRG are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis to join a successful and growing client based in Hertfordshire. As the Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical plant equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and repair faults or breakdowns promptly
• Perform routine and planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Carry out equipment inspections and document maintenance activities
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment (highly regulated industries is preferred)
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
