Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

SRG are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong background in maintenance engineering to join a successful and growing client based in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with experience in project management and mechanical maintenance to play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while providing ongoing maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage CAPEX projects from concept through to completion
• Provide maintenance support for existing systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Use CAD software to develop technical drawings and designs
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues across steam systems and other related equipment
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively along with the Project Manager.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge and experience with steam systems and instrumentation equipment
• Proficient in CAD software and technical drawings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
